Free Your Voice

Today, I’m excited to talk a little bit about a project that a friend of mine is working on. She has been studying the finer points of Eastern Philosophy for a while and is combining those tenets with the mindset of the Western world. What is unique about this is that she is working to blend these two worlds through the concept of “freeing your voice.” When I first heard about this, I immediately invited her to be a guest writer for this blog and I’m happy to report she will be. Stay tuned for her first post.
I have known Barbara Stephan for several years and her talent and her spirit continue to inspire. Barb’s latest project is the “Free Your Voice” workshop – geared towards anyone who communicates with their voice. Anyone who has ever done so knows that a free and authentic voice is necessary for success. Barb’s presentation operates under the well known umbrella – knowledge is power. She has a lot of insights on breathing, resonance, muscle function and how our attitude and our beliefs can affect those physical functions.
It is a well known fact that if you argue your limitations long enough, they will truly become yours. Freeing your voice as well as your spirit can be a wonderful way to dissolve those limitations. Unlock your mind and unstick your imagination and you will be on your journey to finding your true authentic voice.
Barbara will be holding a workshop at Hartland Music on Thursday, April 30th at 6:30pm. The cost is $15 and it will be well worth your time and money. I highly recommend it. Barb will be giving another 4-hour presentation on May 30th at The Clearing on Lisbon Ave. For more information, please feel free to contact Barbara directly: barbara.stephan@sbcglobal.net
